People to songs.... *Not Dao*

If I was to go through my life and place a Theme music to people I have had close in my life I think this list would be the best put together list currently.

Sabrina - Don't you Cry by Kamelot or In Your Shadow (Tokio Hotel)

Chris - Let the bodies Hit the floor... What else could it have been. This one suits the Marine. (There are no ex's when it comes to Marines.)

Ex-Wife Jessica - Brave New World by Iron Maiden as she gave me a brave new world in her decision for divorce which I am grateful for. Also for the frustration of a divorce: In the End by Linkin Park.

Jason - In Between by Linkin Park. The reason is because he always tries to put himself or his relationship between a rock and hard place.

Cyril Blankenship - Boum Boum by Enigma. She seems to give off good energy and even when tired she still seems to have energy about her. That is what this song represents for me is a high energy type person.

Shana Sanders - Lady Evil by Black Sabbath. For obvious reasons.

Vanessa - Pain of Love by Tokio Hotel. Because she always seems to get hurt in relationships but it never really affect the heart she has.

Bruce (Werewolf) - Hellraiser by Ozzy Osbourne. He is not afraid to raise Kaine that is for sure.

Don M. - Stone Cold Crazy - Metallica. It just suits him, don't know the exact reason but it down.

Questionable Daughter - Return to Innocence by Enigma. I used to dance to this song when the ex brought her over for me to watch so she could go get drugged up at a party.

All those children I care about and wish to spoil - Anthem by Kamelot. Listen to the song and you would understand really.

Matt my brother - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC. Just suits him.

B.J. Sister - Gypsy by Dio. Dunno think it somehow suits her.

Chip - Thunderbird by ZZ Top.

Josh - Blood Brothers by Iron Maiden. He is like a little brother to me.

This is as far as I am going to go. See these people are currently the most impacting people both positive and negative in my life. The songs should reflect which is which. You shouldn't have to guess who is currently important and who is no longer around in my life.

New town soon, new start, fresh start. Plus the place if it is Milwaukee I chose is very forest like setting. A nice restful place to enjoy life.

Laters all.

Bow and be humble. *Political Dao*

Article that this writing will pertain to.

After reading this I am very disturbed at the Ignorant Defense Secretary. Clinton starts criticizing China for their Great Firewall. Well it is their country and not the United States. How about some respect to other countries and other government styles that believe a little different than you.

Actually in the Dao it says When people are free from cunning, desire, and artifice, everything will be well-ordered of its own action.

To me it seems like the American Government body wants to be king of the whole earth, but they are too young and arrogant to rule in a kings chair. They do not understand the subtleties it takes to be a kind or ruler. If we use the Dao as a guide we find several things have been twisted and broken.

One holds no preconceptions, and does things without insisting on personal conditions. Well this one is broken as a core when it comes to American Government as they demand everyone else be like them.

One guides people by living in accord with the essence of life. The essence of life... I can not say what this is, but I can say what it is not. It is not the petty idea of accusations, it is not the petty ignorance of humanity, and it is not the strong arm tactics that United States does on other countries. The Dao says to live in accordance with life, not complicate it by conflicts.

One brings good things about, but has no intention of possessing them United States tries to bring about change through force, when they do successfully break a barrier they take full credit for it, they make it a grand show. They possess the intention of anything they deal in.

If human rights changed in China you could bet the United States would take credit as a driving force behind it. Clinton would not wait a single second to take credit for anything she things is positive news. Obama is no different.

One performs work, but has no intention to acquire personal power American Government looks for personal power in all dealings it does. The American People really does not care about butting into other countries affairs in fact many of it's people are sick and tired of the country fighting wars for other countries, butting into other countries affairs.

I love it. The whole Cyber war started and it was cyber America that initiated the first strike, but Clinton is griping about China. Let me put this to rest. When it comes to hacking the Chinese are top line Elites. I am an American writer, but my ideas and philosophy comes from ancient China.

If all is said and done, Clinton talks about one thing and yet the same thing she accuses China of Our own United States Government does as well.

Freedom of information access eh. I would love to see my power grid, I would love to see government documents etc. Oh but US government protects against such things, kind of like Chinese protect their Internet users as well.

Push Through *Resolve*

Sometimes I feel like this. Sometimes I just want to stop trying, sometimes I just want to say, I did what I could and it was not good enough. Then a whisper in the wind comes and states...

"Death is not here so giving up is not an option, redirect the weight of the world with 4 pounds of your own weight."

I think the reason I like the wind is due to it's free nature, and the way it has always lifted me up when it blew across my face. The wind has a sweet smell before a storm, a fragrant smell during the spring, a cooling feature during the summer, and in winter it shows the cruelty it can posses.

Think about the energy that can be harnessed by generating a mini tornado, think about the power in a regular tornado. The wind can bring a sense of calm, or can cause total destruction. Even during hurricanes I feel the need to be outside in the wind.

Water is cool too. Lakes and rivers I love these types of water bodies, but the beach I never really could get behind. I guess I am more of a fresh water fish than anything. The Tao Te Ching may reference life living in the resemblance of water, and I can agree, but the questions come too. It states many good qualities of water, but water is not the only element with good qualities, and it also has it's bad qualities as well. Erosion, tsunami's, hurricanes, water spouts, flooding, etc. Some created with the assistance of the other elements the water still can cause damage. But for the most part water like in the picture is the way to lead life.

What is the Dao, hmm... A complete symmetrical system of opposites and adjacent principles in order to achieve an integral balance within ones life that affects all living beings both directly and indirectly, by affecting a positive aspect of being selfless, caring, and thoughtful. Yea that sounds good, but the Tao/ Dao is only a path, the way, with only a guide according to the Tao Te Ching as to how to lead a life style. No where is it written this is the only way to achieve the knowledge of the Dao, and no where does it state once you achieve this point you will know the Dao.

I believe there are more educated people on this subject, however I believe that those who say do not know, and those that know do not say. In other words those that know the Dao does not boast about knowing it, but teaches through showing a person or talking in selected text about certain things. They never try to benefit from the Dao, but tries to make the Dao benefit from them. I don't think I would like to attend a school for the Dao, nor do I think I would I like to pay someone for the Dao. The Dao exists everywhere, and anywhere. One just needs to calm oneself, and look for the answers in everything.

Resolve is the only thing needed to accomplish something in life. If you resolve to stop a negative feature you will succeed. Resolve to stay on course of a plan and you will stay on it. Resolve is defined as: 5. to reach a firm decision about in the Webster online dictionary. The problem with looking for resolve in a definition is that one can meet the definition and yet miss the whole idea of resolve.

Resolve is the decision to do something, but also the action of doing it no matter what issue is presented. Sometimes though resolve can become a reed that has been dried to snap upon bending, instead of flexing easily and remaining intact as it would with a live reed.

Times when I feel like this, is when resolve kicks in. When the wind reminds me that only I can cause myself to be like this. When I feel like breaking my stop smoking routine, resolve kicks in, I push through it. When my financial arena is not as far as I would like it or I cut it close to the wire, I push through it. I take a deep breathe, relax and remember that if the world falls tomorrow and went back to the dark ages I would survive in the open wilderness, I feel better, calmer and able to push through it with resolve.

Times I look at the three segments of time. The past, the present and the future. I understand the past, and realize without the choices in life I did, how would I be where I am now. If I stayed with any of the women in my life would I be who I am now, and would they?

Present situation does not freak me out at all. For a person that has gone through a lot of negative stuff and started out from scratch at the age of 31 I am doing very well as far as a life style, material belonging to live with, and well I suppose you can say a new start with an old life to learn from.

The future freaks me out the most but it is not over bearing unless I allow it to be. I mean what I can control will be controlled, what I can't I must allow it to flow through me and hope I end up on the up side of the wave. Stress is a weight, if one stresses during a wave they will surely drown.

Well that is my ideas and thoughts tonight. I have been writing for quite some time, in between work responsibilities and searching for images for the writing.

Best wishes my dear readers. Have a blissful day, and balance to all.

Catch up *not fully Dao*

Snakes during the winter tend to be sluggish, and not very out going in things. This is how I feel lately. I really do not want to engage in much. I have been thinking about many things lately though. As a snake I posses the innate ability of intellectual thought. So I have really been using it lately to think of current things in my life. Things I am not fully comfortable with, and how to change them.

I have changed some of the elements of people in my life to better present a positive energy flow. However some I am starting to feel are very negative, intellectual but negative. Our conversations are getting even more rare lately.

One must ask why this occurs. With the previous person in my life that was detrimental I understood why it took so long for me to see his negative energies. I see the energy slightly becoming more dark, and more angry around me at certain times, so I suppose I will need to protect my energies from these negatively charged people.

Need to get my next tattoo for my back. A snake, a ba gua, not sure what I want. I know it is going to be costly though.

I suppose I attract negative energy in order to balance my positive energy. That is one way to look at it. I suppose my issue with this is that I try to eradicate the negative out of my life instead of just live with it. I am trying to deal with it, but when it gets to much I will shut down my receptors and just practice what a sage does. A person who knows does not say. A person who says, does not know.

I may not fully understand the Dao nor may I fully understand others, but I am slowly understanding myself. I understand that I get lonely, and even during these times I am glad that I am alive. I am a creature that likes peace and quiet while not at work, and as a result I stay within my own walls to relax.

I understand that I want a lover but not a spouse. I want a mate, but not a wife. I want solitude, but I also crave occasionaly companionship. I understand that right now I am going through a change on the ideas I had in life, and that the change takes time.

Since the beginning of the western new year, I have presented myself with the following changes:
1. Completely new diet.
2. Back to the gym for exercise and training.
3. No Nicotine / Less Caffeine
4. Tai Chi / Meditation time.

Over all I think I am doing well, I still have nicotine urges, but can't stand the smell, I just will power through them at this point. 19 days and doing my best with it. The most Mt. Dew I have in a single day is a 20 oz bottle, and this only occurs on days I work.

The diet consists of the following listed at wiki.
Diet List

I can't lie though some days I just want to give up on everything and everyone. I wish to just allow myself to break down. Then I remember to bend like the reed and let it flow through me and over me. What one can do is not what one must do, and what one must do is not always what one can do.

I will survive through it, I have so far with little help here and little help there. Not like anyone would know if I need to lean harder or need more. It is not my nature to ask for anything, and not my nature to come outside to seek for such assistance.

I generally get to a point where if things get to be too much for me to handle alone I just go to sleep and forget about everything.

Sleep is the amazing neutralizer of all things.

Run Run away. It is the NightShades *Dao Diet*

A thousand curses upon learning a new term. Upon investigating a Daoist diet I ran across a term I did not know. Well 32 years old, and I think I am pretty sophisticated although rough around the edges, I found something interesting to me. Rarely happens that I am interested, at the same time I am upset because I love a specific nightshade.

Night Shade??? Is that like a Dungeons and Dragons thing? No this is a class of food. Funny but we eat them not realizing it, and in the act of eating them we poison our bodies.

Anyone that has ever gone out to dinner with me knows I love me some baked potatoes. Growing up I used to love eating tomatoes, and was missing them. Come to find out they are in the night shade family.

Here is a link to give reasons and examples of poisonous Night Shades:
http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=george&dbid=62

I was curious on why the Daoist Diet list stated to decrease (essentially end up avoiding) potatoes. You don't understand I love potatoes. I eat 2 when I go to O'Charleys. Well my favorite dish at the restaurant will be missing two items. I suppose I will have to go with the salad... Scratch that, vegetables not cooked are not good to eat according to Daoists. So that cuts out Potatoes, Salads, Guess there is some soups I could do if need be.

I guess for a side Item I could do a sweet potato since it is not actually a Night Shade. However steak is no more, beef is no more, dang Red meat. However Chicken and Fish will need to supplement the red meats. Red Meats is apparently bad for your digestion.

Funny thing is that some peppers are night shade, makes since because most Daoist foods were from what I am understanding bland for the most part. Makes since too, if it was spicy then the digestive track may be irritated.

So next payday I am going to get a Wok, buy some veggies, buy some glad ware and cook me a veggie meal for the week. Since I am only one person I am not really that good at portioning and well I don't want to throw away good food. Plus it will help save money over all. See I plan on eventually eating 2 times a day with smaller portions. Possibly through out the day snack on roasted peanuts, or cereal.

I hate fish but I will have to find me one I would be able to eat. However, fish and other seafood should only be eaten once a week because of their high Yin quantity. Some fish like salmon, shark, swordfish and mackerel, are very Yin should be completely avoided.

I also need to get some sea salt as the rock salt has no nutritious value. So many changes lately. Smoking, caffeine, working out again, and soon the diet. Should be an interesting year.

BEWARE THE NIGHT SHADES.

Jade in the Cove *Change Dao*

The Taoist woke early in the chilly morning. Warming water and preparing for the Tea ritual, he pondered the reason why during the cold months the tea had a taste of ginger, and during the warmer months the tea is a cooler sensation of a tea.

Ginger warms you up immediately the Tao apprentice thought, it speeds blood flow and warms on up. Once the morning tea ritual the apprentice went out to meditate and ponder things. The jade in the cove was beautiful. He started to work on the blank stone of the jade.

As one polishes the jade, one must polish the core being of ones cultivating essence. As he chiseled the rock, he pondered how each change one brings may shape a person, but essentially would need to be polished as well. Each change is like the striking of the chisel, lines are left, rough edges that could cut or left in the open. With out sanding and polishing one may end up cutting themselves, or not capturing the image in it's full beauty.

The Taoist knew that the piece of jade he was working on would take months for him to complete, but he realized that even like jade changes in a person rarely occur quickly, but more like a caterpillar spinning it's cocoon, and spending months changing itself inside.

One that choose to try to be silent will find that it takes time to reduce ones talking habits enough to be silent while still talking at the right time. Changes happen like jade is shaped. Slow, tedious, and attentive the taoist shaping the jade must be, so to the person who wishes to change things in life.

Takes time to quit smoking, takes time to become one to not speak unless it is appropriate to do so, takes time to cultivate a being. When time, heat and pressure is applied to a piece of coal, you eventually get a diamond. Same goes for cultivating one's being.

Takes time to perform. When you begin a change it takes time to chisel it, and it takes time to polish the edges. Once finished and the end comes you realize that it just leads into the beginning of a new change. Heat and Pressure are applied directly through determination.

Placements *Ba Gua and Financials*

K'un looks like an open door. It represents the Earth and is in the winter section of the wheel. This also stands for harmony, flexibility, and receptivity. What better place to start at by assigning Income to this trigram.

This system is to assist in flexibility and with the current financial crisis still looming what best is going to fluctuate more than income.

Income is also placed here for the winter aspect. Winter is a time of reflection, a time of stillness, with this stillness it stays with the old Chinese custom of remaining in Wu and bring action from nothing.

On the opposite site of Income we have Stocks. The Heaven Trigram stands for strength, firmness and creativity. All great signs to put in an important positive account, however it is also right across the open door I talked about, and can be receptive from the open door but also can flow right out of that door as well.

It takes a firm stand and constant observance to handle stocks and with a little creativity it can make you some serious cash, however with the open door it can also loose money as well.

Lets go to Li or the Fire Trigram. This trigram stands for intelligence, attention, and awareness. What better place to put a savings, more specifically savings v.3. This savings can also be interchanged with project money for around the house, or the money you could save if certain habits were no more. It takes some attention and awareness to create this account. Think of it as a filtration system. Sections of your life can be dropping money without you realizing it, instead of allowing this to flow out, put it into this sweeper account.

On the opposite side is water. Water has things like desire, passion, and danger linked to it. I figure this is the very best place for a Primary Savings section. Creating a Saving account should be the most desirable thing a person has (exception of the spouse). The financial future depends on a triad. Savings, 401K, and Stocks. Savings though will allow you to not jeopardize the second or third. So it should be the full desire to increase savings as much as possible.

The Chen (Thunder) trigram has attributed to it Activity, initiative, and movement. What better Financial term to put here due to the activity but Bills. Bills are the #1 mover of your money. So Thunder pretty much scores itself as the evil trigram of financing. Actually it is not an evil Trigram at all, we lump key things in this trigram to offset the negative aspect of money going out the door. This trigram has 2 open Yin but has the safety of the Yang to help isolate the money going out.

Across from Chen is Sun. The wind trigram has obedience, initiation, and penetration. This is where the project goes. What is the Project??? It is the concept before the sweeper. This is a savings account with a specific purpose, if you don't have a purpose for this create one anyways and make is a point to supply it every week or double it for twice a month. You could even state you are paying yourself for living. A small nominal fee. 40 bucks a week at first and then after a year increase it for cost of living.

Next we have the Mountain Trigram. Ken trigram stands for stopping, stabilization, and stillness. This is perfect for your 401k to reside. Your 401k is your stable foundation for later in life. Although it can be pushed and shoved into different mutual funds it is good to practice according to the times. If rough times this account should stay still (in other words in a safer mutual fund). Since this is a stabilizer one should contribute the most they can as early as they can to this account. At least get the company match fully maxed out.

And last but not least is the valley/lake trigram. T'ui trigram is associated with Pleasing, enjoyment, and joy. What better joy can one have but to assist other people. Of course in a financial aspect money spent outside of bills should be money returned. This section is for loans you give out to assist fellow humanity, but as they are loans they come back to the Ba Gua in time.

You short sell yourself to build up the cash that was loaned out, you tend to sacrifice some things in order to save money, by the time you get back to or surpass the amount that was loaned out the life style goes back to normal, however when the shorting comes back you immediately place into savings. The aspect of this area is to be 0 or in the negative, but mostly at 0.

So you now have the 8 Trigrams named, later I will discuss how to use these. Also with 8 Trigrams comes the 64 paths. If you expecting this system to be done over night, well it will not work that way. I must test things, view things and think about how certain sections should react to each other.

8 Trigrams

The Eight trigrams in the Ba Gua has been a big meditation instrument today. Many things can be learned just by looking upon the Ba Gua.

Heaven resides at the South with all things under it, but all things under heaven help create heaven. In Heaven one is allowed to be empty, have Wu as it was. This is the starting point of producing great Chi. How do you get to Heaven, by working on the earthly matters.

Walk on earth long enough and mountains will start to form. From the mountains water will flow. With the wind one can see the heaven. Heaven feeding earth and valley. With a valley one can find fire. With fire comes the need of thunder to control the fire. With Thunder the man walks toward the shelter of the mountain.

Start from any Trigram you wish but all trigrams feed the next in line while pulling from the one adjacent from it. So Heaven draws from earth while feeding the valley. The valley pulls from mountains to produce fire. Fire pulls from water, which may not sound like it is possible, but water produces life in the form of fuel for the fire, so it is correct to say that fire pulls from water. In turn it produces carbon and mixes in the sky helping produce thunder storms. The Thunder storms pull from the wind and feeds the earth. With thunder comes fear, balance, and motivation. The earth pulls energy from the Heaven while producing the ability for mountains. Mountains rely of valleys being created in them in order to produce water in valleys.

The cycle goes on. A Ba Gua is fun to play with. Fire producing too much thunder may scorch the earth. In other words the quality of fire not balancing with water can create a Thunder storm that scorches the earth instead of balances.

One may find wind only when fire and water have been balanced to produce the H2O molecule. Not enough fire and water remains, Too much and air will vanish quickly.
